If I had a Million Dollars..........

Ah BNL, one of my favorite bands!! I don't have much time to blog but do have a bit extra. I'm headed dow

I'm headed to Castle Rock again today for a training in Crisis Prevention/Intervention/Trauma. I'm excited. The practicum experience is really starting to open up and those are the days I feel some of my true colors start to shine. I just need to get over the bout of nervousness I get every now and then..

I don't have much to report besides school.. eeekk.. i'm loving it, i truly do enjoy being in school. i'm wishing for it to be over i won't lie but know i'm going to miss it as soon as that happens! Nonetheless, i'm trying to figure out how to decrease my work load. May not be long and I'll officially truly be a student!

Things are great, couldn't be better! I have a good for the most part flexible job, I'm working on furthing myself, and I live with my wonderful boyfriend..... One thing could be a bit better- the workout scene. I'd like to have the time to put some serious training in there is so much i want to do. I want to get back on my feet wtih running and running fast comfortably. Against my will (just kidding) I got into the road biking thing and actually find myself bummed that I can't get riding hours in due to up and have to be out just before light and home after dark... I also have this huge urge to dive back into climbing--really misss it a bunch.. Oh and of course I've ditched the skis once and for all for a board.. wooottt wooot and snow is coming!! :) Lastly, one of these weekends, hopefully soon Daniel and I will head out to mtn bike. I'm expecting to come back all scrapped and bruised up but nonetheless i'm sure it will be fun..

okay must email my boss about decreasing hours- i'm sticking to my philosophy of life- you've got to have time to enjoy it or what is it worth? Like said "you can't jump the tracks while your cars on a cable. Life's like an hour glass glued to the table" thus meaning get out and enjoy it, your never going to say you regret trying something new or taking time for yourself- what you are goign to regret is working too much and.... missing out on opportunities.

so for ya all happy happy happy tuesday :)

just wasting some valuable time.

"work out your own salvation. do not depend on others." -Buddha.

so this quote just struck me for some odd reason.
I haven't blogged in a while and in all honesty am feeling a bit guilty about doing it now. I took the day off because I was sick and to get school work done, which i've been putting off and... it is 12:25 already and not a lick of it has been touched.
OUCH... why can't I focus.
So I don't have must exciting to write because the fact that I get up two mornings out of the week at 5:30am (okay yesterday it was 4am) and go to work/school till about 8pm every night. So... workouts yeh IF they happen it is bright and early 6er or so.. I keep swearing I won't do this over and over and over again and I keep just doing it.. packing my schedule.
So 7 more classes to go. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.. I just may be a prof. soon enough. I'm on practicum right now. It is going well, a little slow as of yet but well nonetheless.
I just wish I could wake up every morning at about 5er or 5:30ish and feel energized, not exhausted. I'm hoping when this cold finally passes I'll be back on track but......track just seems so off right now. It is probably because I spend the majority of my day in a car running all around the outskirts of denver and because my schedule is sooooo random that it is hard to get in the groove with anything at all..
okay my bitch session is over for the moment.
I almost thought about putting school on hold and coaching lax again. I miss playing and coaching but like said "all good things come to an end." School is number one priority as of now just finish before I decide it is something else I want to do..... tunnel, light, tunnel, light... next august coursework will be completed.. haha i just keep talking myself through it.
my weekends are packed crazy but i wish they were packed with camping trips and such out of the city and into the mountains..soon soon soon!
anyway, sorry a very boring and not so much uplifting post. Nov. i'm running a 5k and another one in dec. maybe i'll have more to report then..
until.. smiles lots of them!

update

Yummm... Grandma's cookies.
Daniel digging into my grandma's cookies
with a spoon..... they were a bit mangled when they got to us
looked like someone had played football with them. Nonetheless, they
were still awesome and good..my grams has talent in the cookie arena that is for sure.
At Lloyd's in NY in August.
Tiffany (one of Daniel's good friends) and I...
Daniel and I being goofs on Missouri Pass
yep a 14er, nope we didn't make it to the top
we started hiking at 11:50am and you are supposed to
be finished and down by noon. We got pretty high and
weather came in so we hauled ass downhill!
Hi ya'll so there are some more pictures. I've been bad about updating my pictures or well just bad about updating in general. I'm still working about part-time. I drive all over the city of denver and the 'burbs and i'm tired of driving but i love my kiddos. I'm taking 13 credit hours this semester, down from 16. I dropped one, just wasn't going to work otherwise. I'm trying to finish up course work by next august so i can take my praxis and... ya know do that internship thing... great then move onto the prof. world... not so sure if i'm ready for that. I guess if I just don't fail to lose track of the value in life it will be good for me. I've always enjoyed doing what I do and doing what I like and trying new places so....last thing i would want is to start making a ton of money and get "stuck" oh wait, i've decided to be a school psych..who am i kidding, a ton of money? ha...
bought my ski pass the other day.. five mountain better watch out.. more like i'll be the ball of accumulating snow rolling down the hill... yeppers i'm switching to snowboarding. i've jumped on the bandwagon.
so the sun is peaking it's little eyeballs over the mountains and i swore i was gonna run this morning. i swore the last three mornings i'd be up by 5:15am and it took three days to accomplish that... so today i got up that early and its dark till 6:35, i already ate a bowl of cereal so...... i can expect craps but i've got to jet.. long day ahead of me.. peace!

Daniel and I on Independence pass
August 13, 2006
one of my bestest from home
Aug. 5th, 2006

Not much to report. School as started again. Again this summer I tried to spend as many weekends as I could outside of Denver. The pic of Timmuh and I is in NY..one of our last nights there :) boo hooo.. I miss that place. Upon our return from NY four days later Daniel and I managed to head to snowmass and visit aspen and camp near independence past. The following weekend I stayed here in Denver, due to class. Last weekend (26th and 27th) we headed down to Durango to visit Daniel's friend, Dave.
Durango was fun. I saw a lot more of the town this time than I did last summer. I actually really enjoyed it. More and more I'm enjoying the small town atmosphere... I spent most of my days just cruising around the streets and window shopping.....of course though, I managed to come home with three SMALL shopping bags... two items for me and three items for others! hehehe... Daniel and I hit up a road ride, about 30 miles or so, it was nice. Slow pace, we were both dead but nonetheless fun.....
Looks like weekend classes will be holding me in Denver for a while but... hey what is a few weekends in sept. down here when i know the snow is coming and i'll be spending most of nov and dec. in the mtns.. let it snow let it snow let it snow...i'm ready!!
okay back to reading... blah.. then benny's for some margs and mexican food yuuuummmm! :)
Happy Labor Day Friends!
